INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 13, 2009 – Rancho® has released a new 6-in. longtravel suspension system for the popular 2008-09 Polaris Ranger RZR to deliver increased suspension travel, improved ground clearance and enhanced stability.

Available through performance retailers nationwide, the new race-inspired Rancho suspension system for the 2008-09 Polaris Ranger RZR (p/n RS10101) was designed and tested by Rancho, one of the world’s most recognized brands of off-road suspension components and accessories. Rancho is manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN). Rancho products are on display this weekend at the DealerExpo Show, Indianapolis (booth no. 2827).

The Rancho Polaris Ranger RZR system (p/n RS10101) includes billet 6061 aluminum upper control 6-in. A-arms with contrast machining, HSLA steel lower control arms designed for high-clearance, and exclusive self-lubricating control arm bushings. Each Rancho RZR kit also includes high-strength inner tie rod ends, front and rear axle shafts, rod ends with high-alignments, and replacement front and rear brakelines.

Each Rancho Ranger RZR system includes popular Rancho® RS9000XL™ Pro Series Coil-Over Shocks, a race-proven, highly engineered shock design that has been custom engineered for popular UTV models. Rancho includes the front and rear shocks in the suspension upgrade kit.

The Rancho RZR system increases the A-arm width by six inches and the wheelbase by four inches (two inches added to the front and two inches added to the rear). The system provides 13 inches of wheel travel to the UTV.

Each Rancho RS9000XL Pro Series UTV shock is individually valved per application and includes a Rancho-exclusive high-performance self-lubricating replaceable composite bearing, anodized aluminum reservoir with stainless steel braided hose, a 1.375-in. diameter piston, a 16-mm piston rod and custom-rate Eibach® coil spring.

Each Rancho RS9000XL series shock includes the exclusive nineposition adjustable MyRide Tuning System and is available in the very popular liquid metallic sliver finish. The shocks include the slider, adjuster and spring retainer.

The Rancho shocks available for the 2008-09 Ranger RZR models include stock replacement shocks (front shock p/n RS19607-1; rear shock p/n RS19608-1) and long travel shocks (front shock p/n RS19605-1; rear shock p/n RS19606-1).
