Performance High-Steer Knuckle from Rancho® Delivers Strength to Lifted Jeep Wrangler JKs
Las Vegas, Tues., Oct. 31, 2017 – Tenneco’s Rancho® brand of performance suspension systems and shocks has announced the availability of heavy-duty high-steer RockGEAR® knuckles for 3-inch and higher lifted 20072017 Jeep Wrangler JKs that help to improve off-road performance and durability, particularly for JKs utilized in off-road driving. The Rancho knuckles fit left- and right-hand-drive models.
The new Rancho RockGEAR steering knuckles will be on display in the brand’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show booth (#25133) this week.
Designed to increase steering integrity for lifted vehicles during off-road driving, Rancho RockGEAR steering knuckles for the JK are cast from heavy duty, high-strength steel for additional protection when under direct impact.
The new Rancho knuckles also maintain steering geometry and add strength to the most vulnerable points within the steering envelope when off-road driving. The knuckles add an additional 1.5-inches of clearance within the tight space, helping to protect critical steering components, and their design also helps lift the steering linkage out of range from direct impact from off-road obstacles or impediments.
The new Rancho steering knuckles fit all Jeep Wrangler JK models, including Rubicon and Unlimited. The steering knuckles work with either JK Dana 30 axle or JK Rubicon Dana 44 axle. The RockGEAR knuckle kit (Part No. RS62100) includes: a front left high-steer knuckle, a front right high-steer knuckle and three-inch bump stops. A track bar relocation bracket (Part No. RS62101) and flip drag link (Part No. RS62102) are recommended and sold separately.
Available now at Rancho dealers across North America, each high-steer knuckle is finished with rich, durable classic Rancho red powdercoat. All Rancho high-steer knuckles include full-color, highly detailed product installation instructions. The knuckle is covered by a limited one-year warranty.
