MOAB, Utah, April 6, 2009 – Delivering an aggressive stance, improved ground clearance and more to the popular UTV, Rancho® has announced the release of a high-performance suspension system for 2004-07 and 2008-09 Yamaha Rhino vehicles.
One of the world’s most recognized brands of off-road suspension components and accessories, Rancho is manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN). Rancho headquarters are in Long Beach, Calif.

The system also includes adjustable front camber. Rancho utilizes high-strength rod ends and uniball in the system, and includes front and rear axle shafts and front and rear frame stiffeners.
At the core of the Rancho suspension system are the brand’s worldrenowned Rancho® RS9000XL™ Pro Series Coil-Over Shocks, a race-proven, highly engineered shock design that has been custom engineered for popular UTV models. Delivering the ultimate combination of convenience and performance, Rancho includes the front and rear shocks in the suspension upgrade kit.
Each Rancho RS9000XL Pro Series UTV shock is individually valved per application and includes a Rancho-exclusive high-performance self-lubricating replaceable composite bearing, anodized aluminum reservoir with stainless steel braided hose, a 16-mm piston rod, a 1.375-in. diameter piston and custom-rate Eibach® coil spring.
Stock replacements are available for the 2004-09 Rhino models (front shock p/n RS19603-1; rear shock p/n RS19604-1) and long travel shock replacements are also available for 2004-09 Rhino models (front shock p/n RS19601-1; rear shock p/n RS19602-1).
