LAS VEGAS, Tues., Nov. 1, 2011 – Tenneco Inc.’s Rancho® and DynoMax® brands have issued a new, complete product line catalog for Jeep applications. The new catalog (R-RM-0075-1011) also includes recently added suspension coverage for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models and new DynoMax VT systems for a variety of Jeeps.

NEW RANCHO® SHOCK PACKAGING GIVES COUNTERPEOPLE AN EXTRA TOOL DURING A PERFORMANCE RIDE CONTROL SALE

NEW RANCHO® ROCKGEAR™ REAR DOOR COVER PLATES, STEERING SKID BOXES AVAILABLE FOR POPULAR JEEP MODELS

Ideal for light trucks and SUVs, the Rancho RS5000 shock absorbers combine a twin-tube cellular gas design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving to deliver a comfortable on-highway ride and controlled off-road performance. RS5000 shocks feature an expanded tube for increased fluid capacity and reduced internal temperatures.

Each shock includes sturdy double-wall construction; glass-filled PTFE piston seals; 5/8-in.-diameter hardened, double-chromed rod; and 1-3/8-in.-diameter full-displacement piston.

Rancho also finishes every RS5000 shock and strut in the brand’s easily recognizeable, vibrant white and red color scheme. Each shock and strut body is clear coated, providing an extended life. Rancho also includes a red boot to protect the piston rod.

RANCHO® RS7000MT™MONOTUBE SHOCKS NOW AVAILABLE FOR MORE THAN 130 POPULAR TRUCKS, JEEPS

LAS VEGAS, Tues., Nov. 1, 2011 – Rancho® has expanded its RS7000MT™ monotube shock absorber line to include coverage of more than 130 popular truck and Jeep models. Available now at performance retailers nationwide, the Rancho RS7000MT shock absorbers provide a highly effective dissipation of heat, making the shocks extremely resistant to overheating during extreme use.

“We’ve seen such a positive response to this product line that we’re planning to continue adding new part numbers and coverage. We’re also developing some new coil-over monotube designs that we’ll launch in 2012,” said Joe Pase, general manager, Rancho. Rancho products are manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc. RS7000MT shock absorbers offer exceptional response to overheating during hauling or on rough roads and trails. The shocks help to deliver the fast, precise response required by many early- and late-model vehicles.

The shock design features a high-pressure gas charge separated from the internal oil to maximize damping efficiency and control on vehicles that utilize monotube technology. Each shock includes a 46mm bore and piston and 14mm chrome piston rod.

Including advanced valving precisely tuned to its corresponding application, the new monotubes are now available for the following vehicle makes and models:
