SEMA Award Winning MyRIDE Controller Adds Precise Control, Convenience on the Trail, Road and Anywhere in Between

MOAB, Utah, April 6, 2009 – Rancho® – a brand backed by industry-first and industry-exclusive technologies – has announced the availability of the new Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) award winning Rancho MyRIDE™ Wireless Controller, making it easy to adjust the ride profile from firm to soft and anywhere in between.

Rancho suspensions and shock absorbers are manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN).

Noted as the industry’s first company to introduce adjustable shock absorbers, Rancho has included the industry-leading MyRIDE™ Wireless Tuning System inside each RS9000XL™ series shock absorber and QuickLIFT™ units.

“It’s exciting to hear the initial feedback from this new type of off-road technology,” said Joe Pase, performance products manager, Tenneco. “The MyRIDE controller truly represents the next level of suspension adjustability technology.”

The Rancho MyRIDE Wireless Controller allows for one-touch remote tuning of the MyRIDE Tuning System, a Rancho exclusive adjustability feature included on every RS9000XL series shock absorber. The Wireless Controller includes a variety of one-touch presets, including Highway, Sport, Tow/Haul, Off- Road, and a driver-determined MyRide, which allows the owner to set his own preferred ride setting and save it for future use.

Operating on a unique RF band to avoid interruption, the Wireless Controller also features a backlit screen with powersaver mode and convenient, readily available AAA battery power. Replacement controllers with an easy to operate synch cable also will be available.

The Wireless Controller’s versatile design allows for mounting or storage virtually anywhere within the vehicle. Utilizing a water-resistant construction, the Wireless Controller has a range of operation of up to 50 feet.

The Rancho MyRide system features a powerful, quiet-running air compressor, solenoid switching manifold, air lines and necessary fittings. Including simple, easy-to-follow directions, the new MyRide system can be easily installed and requires no programming.
