RANCHO JEEP LEGACY CONTINUES TO GROW, ADDS NEW SUSPENSION COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS FOR JK PLATFORM

Brand’s Engineers Continue to Develop One of the Industry’s Top Suspension Lines for the Wrangler JK, New Leveling Springs & Short-Arm Suspension Kits

MOAB, Utah, April 6, 2009 – Rancho® has launched brand-new leveling springs and a short-arm suspension system for the Wrangler JK, making it easy for any level of enthusiast to enhance their JK’s ride and improve its stance and looks. The new products join Rancho’s already impressive product offering, including the sport and long-arm systems.

One of the world’s most recognized brands of off-road suspension components and accessories, Rancho is manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN). Rancho headquarters are in Long Beach, Calif.

Rancho products are on display this week at the Spanish Trail Arena during the Easter Jeep Safari, sponsored by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers, Inc., Moab, Utah.

“If you want to level your JK, add a couple inches of lift or head out into the rocks for some serious crawling, your brand is Rancho,” said Joe Pase, Rancho General Manager. “We’ve got four completely different ways to lift your JK, and they’re all backed by Rancho’s legendary engineering standards. The Rancho product line truly has a suspension option for any JK owner.”

A brand that helped shape aftermarket suspensions for Jeeps, Rancho brings over a 50-year legacy of engineering innovation to its latest array of products for the 2007-08 Jeep Wrangler JK.

The new line includes leveling springs, a set of front springs that raise the height of the JK to a level stance. Available now, the Rancho leveling springs (p/n RS6219) raise the front of the vehicle two inches and can be easily installed.

Rancho’s new 4-in. short-arm suspension system (p/n RS6517B) adds performance and appearance to the ’07-08 Wrangler JK. Including the company’s exclusive self-lubricating spherical composite rod-ends that improve ride quality and offroad performance, the new short-arm suspension also features new springs and forged pitman arm.

Rancho continues to enhance the JK ride and stance through its sport system (p/n RS6507/RS6507B), a system designed to add four inches of lift to the JK and to provide general all-purpose suspension performance on- and off-road. Compatible with up to 37-in. tires, the Rancho sport system includes a high-clearance drop bracket design that requires no cutting or welding during installation, front and rear track bar relocation bracket and forged pitman arm. The system is compatible with coil springs.

For the ultimate in articulation and increased ground clearance required for demanding off-road riding, Rancho’s 4-in. long-arm rockcrawler suspension system (p/n RS6509/RS6509B) also includes the Rancho-only, double-cushion high articulation bushings, front and rear track bar relocation bracket, heavy-duty, quick-disconnect front sway-bar end links and forged pitman arm. This Rancho system delivers minimized bumpsteer and is engineered for optimal steering geometry. The system works with up to 37-in. tires.
