Rancho® Earns SEMA’s “Best Off-Road/4-Wheel Drive Product” of the Year Award for Jeep Wrangler JL Sport Lift Kits

Lift Kits for Unlimited Rubicon & Unlimited JLs Features Rancho RS5000™X &

RS9000™XL with Exclusive New Dynamic Rebound Spring™ Technology

Long Beach, Calif., Jan. 4, 2019 – The new, Rubicon-tested Rancho 2- and 3.5-

inch sport suspension systems for Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4WD models recently

won the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s (SEMA) “Best Off-Road/4-Wheel

Drive Product” of the year award. The engineering and product teams at Rancho

performance suspension and shocks – an industry leader in off-road technology and

suspension innovations – spent time field testing and refining the suspension design

before taking it to market.

“This was an incredibly exciting design and build for the entire team at

Rancho. The kit is truly a testament to our core customer base – the Jeep

enthusiast – and exemplifies the approach to detail and construction that our

engineering, fabrication and product teams have,” said Mike Sype, product and

marketing manager, Rancho.

Available through parts retailers across North America, the award-winning

lift kits include a 2-in. system with RS5000X shocks (Part No. RS66122BR5); a

2-in. system with RS9000XL shocks (Part No. RS66122BR9); a 3.5-in.

system with Rancho RS5000 shocks (Part No. RS66124BR5); and a 3.5-in.

system with Rancho RS9000XL shocks (Part No. RS66124BR9).

“More travel, more articulation and more performance – this kit delivers all

of that inside a true, enthusiast-first suspension package. As a Jeep enthusiast, I

was able to take this out on a true test on the Rubicon trail during a Jeep

Jamboree event last summer. It withstood everything I threw at it and came back

wanting more,” said Sype.

Each new 2 and 3.5-in. Rancho sport suspension system for the Jeep JL

Unlimited 4WD model includes a pair of front and rear corner-specific, heavy-duty

progressive rate coil springs to ensure a level ride, even during towing or under heavy

loads. These springs are tuned to enhance on-road comfort for occupants and offer

superior off-road performance.

Each kit also includes front and rear bump stop extensions, front and rear

extended sway bar end links and emergency brake line relocation bracket to complete

the system. All brackets are precision-engineered and manufactured from high-strength,

low-alloy steel.

Jeep drivers have the choice of Rancho RS5000X or RS9000XL shocks that now

include an exclusive, innovative new shock technology to finish the system. Dynamic

Rebound Spring™ (DRS) technology – found on RS5000X and RS9000XL shocks

specific to the Jeep JL – includes a unique internal system that has a precisely tuned

metal spring and fortified interior construction to improve control, reduce vehicle body

roll and prevent rod overextension.

The latest Rancho suspension systems are designed to accommodate up to 35-

inch tires for capable, all-around performance. Each system is compatible with OE tires

and wheels and the Jeep Wrangler JL Electronic Stability Control System.

Several Rancho Jeep Wrangler JL suspension systems recently earned

the U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 126 – Electronic Stability

Control Systems (FMVSS-126) protocol.

Each suspension kit, along with the included RS5000X or RS9000XL shock

absorbers, is backed by Rancho’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. Rancho RS5000X and

RS9000XL shocks also are covered by a 90-day, risk-free offer, which allows

consumers to try certain dampers on any truck or SUV for 90 days. Consumers can

return their shocks within 90 days for a full refund of the product’s purchase price. To
