2009-10 FORD F-150 4WD TRUCK OWNERS HAVE PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION OPTIONS FROM RANCHO®

LOS ANGELES, Tues., Jan. 19, 2010 – Rancho – one of the world’s most recognizable brands of off-road suspension components and accessories – has released two new systems for the 2009-10 Ford F-150, delivering maximized handling and performance benefits on- and off-road. The new systems are completely compatible with the Ford AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®) system, and are available through thousands of off-road performance retailers nationwide.

Providing four inches of lift, the new Rancho F-1501 suspension systems (p/n RS6518B for 2009; RS6519B for 2010) easily lift the front and rear while allowing for the use of a larger wheel and tire package (up to 35-in. tires). Stock 18- and 20-in. wheels can be re-used.

Both systems include a heavy-duty, one-piece Rancho subframe made from high-strength low-alloy steel. The systems provide exceptional strength while installing easily and maintaining proper CV and driveshaft angles to minimize vibrations. Another key Rancho component of the systems are CNCmachined extended steering knuckles. The systems include all alignment hardware and align to OE specifications.

The systems maintain the factory location of the rack and pinion, a key design element that ensures proper steering integrity and simplification of installation.

The new systems from Rancho are fully compatible with Rancho RS9000XL™ adjustable shock absorbers (front RS999806; rear RS999287) that feature a larger diameter reserve tube to allow for cooler and more consistent performance under the most demanding conditions. The RS9000XL shocks also are constructed with a larger-than-normal 18-mm diameter chromed piston rod and are finished in Liquid Metallic Silver. The shocks can be controlled with the Rancho MyRIDE™ Wireless Controller, providing wireless, instant manipulation of the shock ride profile.

Rancho also makes the system compatible with these other shock options: RS9000XL Pro Series shock (p/n RS19287) and RS5000™ (p/n front RS5806; rear RS5287) series shock absorbers.

The systems also include rear leaf spring blocks. Every Rancho system includes all of the necessary components to complete the installation; detailed, full-color installation instructions; and a limited lifetime warranty. No drivetrain modifications are necessary. The systems are only available in black.
