What Does a Steering Stabilizer Do?
Acting as a shock absorber, a steering stabilizer mounts on the steering linkage to dampen the vibrations that can come from the tires through the steering system. As your truck or SUV’s tires travels over bumps or other hazards, the steering stabilizer dampens the impact to deliver a smoother ride.
